University Student Invented 2-D Girlfriend

Drew Burrows knows what it is like to come home to an empty bed, lonely and without a girlfriend. So Burrows, 28, engineered a 2-D girlfriend and shared his invention to all the lonely people out there.
He unveiled his invention, INBED to the public last night at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program Spring Show at Tisch School of the Arts.
How it works
INBED is a simple “infrared sensitive” light projection that projects a 2-D woman that reacts and moves based on the infrared sensor. The projector hangs on the ceiling, and projects the woman’s image on your bed. She responds to your every move you made when you’re next to it. For example, when you lie on your back, she will snuggle up to you, curl up in the fetal position and she will spoon and when you give her kiss on the cheek, she will roll over and buries her face in the pillow like she is kissing you.
The only hitch is… Burrows invention is only 2-D; meaning you can’t feel your girlfriend. On top of that, bad news guys, she stays fully clothes at all times too.
The image of having someone 2-D on your bed that reacts to what you do freaks me out but some says, a 2-D girlfriend is better than 0-D girlfriend… *shrugs
