Whether Microsoft’s bid is a deal or not, Yahoo as announced last month began to cut jobs; up to 1,000 employees. Chief Executive of Yahoo Inc, Jerry Yang is expected to cut the work force by around 7 percent of 14,300 employees as reported end of 2007.

No More Video-Sharing On Skype!


It’s a bug attack!

Skype was forced to switch off its popular video-sharing feature in its software as a security effort to protect Skype users from a self-launch worm attack.

The bug in the software was first reported last Thursday by security researcher ,Aviv Raff and believed to be originated from Skype’s way of using Internet Explorer component to render HTML.

Last week, the security researcher proved the potential bug by showing how attackers could exercise the bug to run unauthorized software on a Skype user’s PC. Again on Tuesday, Raff said the flaw was more serious than he’d first thought.

iPhones Still Make Waves


Apple might have left iPhone out in Steve Jobs’ keynote recently at its annual MacWorld convention but iPhone is still a big hits. Since its launch in July 2007, Apple has sold more than 4 million iPhones worldwide.
