Panasonic steps up from its 103-inch high definition plasma TV to a 150-inch version as presented at the latest International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The 150-inch TV is said to be the world’s largest to date. Its screen alone equals to the size of nine 50-inch panel, featuring an 8.84-million-pixel image resolution along with viewing area of as huge as 11 feet.
Plasma Tv has been selling well in the U.S market, aligning to the latest lifestyle of consumers who indulge in high-definition TV and movies.
There was no announcement on how much the giant TV will be priced at. The 103-inch sets were initially sold at $70,000 when it was first launched.
What’s more enticing is… Panasonic too expressed initiation to equipped its series of Internet-enabled plasma TV with videos directly from YouTube. If this is realized, consumers will be able to view YouTube videos directly on their high definition plasma TV!
