I’m a pretty open minded person, but this seems like no way to live. If you are desperate, yes, but otherwise you are just freeloading off of an already stressed system. And that sounds harsh, but you have to give something back if you can.

I,ve been doing all of these for 40 years, plus couponing, walking the air-conditioned mall for exercise, and never REFUSING help from friends (much more productive than begging). When you are down to foodstamps and Section 8 housing, you learn a lot.

PS: Writing companies about how much you or your cat enjoy their product gets more junk sent to you than complaining. If you are complaining they argue with you (our products are wonderful) and send you a coupon for replacement only, which doesn’t help if it’s really gross in the first place.

I assume this is humor, but some of us live it.
